Preconception/TTC

A woman’s journey toward motherhood often begins long before pregnancy.
For many, trying to conceive (TTC) comes with unexpected physical and emotional hurdles. In Calyx, we offer clarity and support to help women feel empowered and informed in their fertility journey.

WHY PRECONCEPTION CARE MATTERS?

Fertility is not only a concern for those actively trying. It intersects with hormonal health, pelvic function, and long-term wellbeing. Whether you're planning for a family, recovering from pregnancy loss, or managing stress around fertility, your physiotherapy journey can begin here.

We explore topics such as:

  • How fertility changes in your 20s, 30s, and 40s
  • The role of stress, posture, and pelvic alignment in conception
  • The connection between ovulatory health and musculoskeletal balance

Common Conditions Related to Preconception

Even before pregnancy, several conditions can affect your ability
or confidence to conceive. Here’s what we frequently help women with at Calyx:

HOW CALYX CAN SUPPORT YOU

your medical fertility team to help improve your overall well-being and
quality of life through:

  • Optimising pelvic alignment and posture for comfort and mobility
  • Supporting nervous system regulation to reduce stress and tension
  • Retraining breath and core for better hormonal support and body awareness
  • Enhancing sexual function and comfort, making intimacy more pleasurable
  • Improving general fitness through exercise and lifestyle guidance

We’re here to support you holistically and to complement your medical care with gentle, thoughtful strategies that may improve how you feel throughout the process.

👋 Hi, how can I help?
CHLOE NG
Co-founder, Senior Physiotherapist

Chloe is a dedicated women’s health physiotherapist whose personal and professional journey has shaped her compassionate approach to care. Early in her career, she noticed that many women’s health concerns, including incontinence, painful intercourse and fertility challenges, were often dismissed or left unspoken. This sparked her commitment to specialise in pelvic health and provide women with the support they deserve.

She pursued training in pelvic health assessment and management, and integrates Polestar Pilates principles into her practice to restore functional movement, postural alignment, and overall wellbeing.

Her personal decision to go through two unmedicated births reinforced her belief in the power of education, preparation, and informed support during pregnancy and beyond.
