Resilient in Transition

Bone, Muscle, and Sexual Health for Midlife
Resilient in Transition is a structured pathway to help you prepare, adapt, and thrive in midlife. It is thoughtful and grounded in current science. This preventive programme helps women in midlife make sense of what is changing and build strength from the inside out.

Who Is This For?

Resilient in Transition is a whole-body physiotherapy programme for women in their 30s, 40s, and 50s. It is designed for women who want to move beyond simply coping and take control to feel strong again. It allows women to reconnect with their bodies, understand their changing muscles, bones, joints, and pelvic floor function to be able to support all of that holistically.

WHY IT’S UNIQUE

  • We see the full picture:

You won’t get advice in silos. We bring together musculoskeletal and pelvic health knowledge, hormone literacy, and whole-body movement. We explain the why, not just the what.
  • It is prevention focused:

You don’t have to wait for things to worsen. This is for women who want to protect bone density, improve balance, strengthen their core, and move into midlife with confidence.
  • You can use it alongside your care:

Already seeing us for physiotherapy? This programme adds more tools, structure, and support to help you keep moving well as your body and hormones change.
  • Continued Online Support:

WhatsApp guidance is available for up to 8 weeks after your final session to answer questions and provide reassurance. Extensions or follow-ups can be arranged if needed.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN AND ACHIEVE

By the end of each session, you will be able to:
  • Understand the physical changes of perimenopause and how to support your body
  • Learn how hormonal shifts affect muscle strength, joint health, pelvic floor function, and sexual wellbeing
  • Feel confident managing symptoms like joint stiffness, pelvic heaviness, or intimacy discomfort
  • Build strength and mobility to support your core, bones, and overall movement

FAQ

When should I start this programme?

You can start Resilient in Transition at any stage of perimenopause or early menopause. It is suitable for women already experiencing changes or those wanting to prepare before symptoms appear. Early participation helps you take a proactive approach to bone, muscle, joint, and pelvic health.
An internal vaginal assessment is not required, but may be offered if clinically relevant and with your full consent. Internal exams provide the most direct information about pelvic floor strength, tone, and support. If you prefer not to have one, we can use real-time ultrasound to observe pelvic floor movement and activation. This gives useful insight but cannot assess muscle tone or tissue condition as directly.
No, but we recommend it. Each session focuses on a key system affected by hormonal changes. Together, they offer a complete view of how to support your body during this stage and beyond.

Do I need to have symptoms to join?

No. This programme is for anyone wanting a clear baseline and to stay ahead of future issues. It is about prevention, not just treatment.
No. These are personalised physiotherapy sessions including assessments, education, and targeted exercises based on your specific needs.
Perfect. We add clinical insight to what you’re already doing, helping you move better and train smarter through hormonal changes.

CHLOE NG
Co-founder, Senior Physiotherapist

Chloe is a dedicated women’s health physiotherapist whose personal and professional journey has shaped her compassionate approach to care. Early in her career, she noticed that many women’s health concerns, including incontinence, painful intercourse and fertility challenges, were often dismissed or left unspoken. This sparked her commitment to specialise in pelvic health and provide women with the support they deserve.

She pursued training in pelvic health assessment and management, and integrates Polestar Pilates principles into her practice to restore functional movement, postural alignment, and overall wellbeing.

Her personal decision to go through two unmedicated births reinforced her belief in the power of education, preparation, and informed support during pregnancy and beyond.
