Clinical Pilates for Women in Singapore
Our Clinical Pilates sessions are physiotherapist-led and designed specifically for women. Whether you're recovering from birth, rebuilding core strength, or managing pain and posture in midlife, we combine movement and clinical care to support you from the inside out.
What to Know Before Your First Session
-
Is Clinical Pilates the same as regular Pilates?
Not quite. Clinical Pilates is guided by a physiotherapist who tailors the session to your specific needs, whether you’re managing pain, rebuilding strength, or preparing to return to higher-impact activity.
-
Who is it for?
We support women through pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause and beyond. It’s ideal if you’re managing diastasis recti, pelvic floor issues, joint pain, postural imbalances or just want to move better and feel stronger.
-
Do I need experience with Pilates?
Not at all. Whether you’re brand new or already active, we meet you where you are. You’ll be supported every step of the way.
-
Will it be personalised?
Yes. You’ll receive a tailored program based on your assessment and we’ll adjust it as you progress.

How Clinical Pilates Works at Calyx
At Calyx, Clinical Pilates is more than movement, it’s part of your physiotherapy plan. We assess how your body moves, where it compensates, and what it needs to restore function.
We may focus on:
- Core stability using breath and control (transverse abdominis, pelvic floor, diaphragm)
- Whole-body alignment and posture retraining
- Mobility, flexibility, and load tolerance
- Balance and coordination
- Building strength safely
All sessions are 1-on-1 and led by a women’s health physiotherapist, ensuring clinical precision and personal care.
